Ready? Here’s how:

You’ll need supplies for Party Banners, plus a small amount of tissue paper in any color.
Complete all the folding and cutting steps for the Party Banner.
Before unfolding the banners, cut a small shape out of the center fold. It can be a very simple shape, like this diamond.

Unfold the banners and open one up.
Cut a piece of tissue paper so it fits over the cutout.
Secure the tissue paper with a piece of tape at the top. That’s it!

Attach the stained glass banners to a string the same as for regular Party Banners.
Hang them up where they can catch a little light. It doesn’t take much light at all to make these glow.
Mix up the colors, do a rainbow progression, or make them all the same for different effects. Patterned tissue works too!
